The Assos Equipe RS LeHoudini Roadsuit is the third garment to join the S9 generation, and it has been designed entirely from scratch, keeping the primary goal in mind: to offer you the perfect balance between targeted support and unmatched speed. The approach taken required examining the entire concept of the body, starting from the lower part. Assos employed the A-Lock Engineering system, the new support system made up of proprietary technologies and fabrics that work together to provide stability to the shorts and keep the chamois in place.

• AeroFit: the thinnest cut, focused on speed, tighter and more compressive than the Race Fit. It may seem restrictive off the bike, but it feels like a second skin while riding.
• A-Lock Engineering: S9 racing Fit system that includes new fabrics and technologies that work in harmony to stabilize the shorts and secure the insert in place.
• Butterfly pattern: The main textile panel that completely wraps the lower back and legs, which join at the back. Fewer seams allow for a more uniform grip, less weight, and greater comfort.
• Type.441: A patented 40 gauge warp knit, developed specifically for compressive hold and silky comfort. 200 g/m2, UPF 50+, moisture wicking (hydroFil fastDry), iceColor, odorControl, and extremely durable.
• ErgoBox: A square pattern construction that effectively frames the insert on the back, boxing it in for greater stability.
• Ultra-light leg grippers: A light silicone treatment woven into the leg bands, which reduces the mass of the fabric and holds the shorts in place without excessive pressure.
• Mod.Dep S9 Basalto: Top sheet booster in antibacterial microfiber in 3D basalt coloring. It pays homage to the volcanic stone that gives us strength, stability, and courage.
• SuperAir microShock foam: A lightweight open-cell foam with a composition that absorbs shocks and returns to its original position, filling the space every time the riding position changes in the saddle through weight shifting.
• 3D Waffle: Patented three-layer perforated foam that increases breathability and eliminates excess weight.
• Surface reduction design: Reduced footprint from the previous Equipe Evo model to shed extra grams.
• GoldenGate: a patented technology that interrupts the seams along both side panels of the insert, allowing for greater three-dimensional freedom of movement in this delicate rotation area.
• Horizontal stabilizer: a patented central point that fixes the back of the insert to the outer fabric, eliminating shifting while pedaling out of the saddle.
• krater Cooler: System of small holes in the front of the insert that increases airflow so that sensitive areas are kept cooler.
• MiniCheck Tex: open 3D mesh fabric with truly exceptional breathability. Quick-drying and super lightweight. UPF 25 despite weighing so little. Built-in odor control for durability and hygiene.
• Push Pull: the pockets and sleeves are made with our Push Pull fabric in warp-knit developed by ASSOS with high UV protection (UPF 50+). Highly breathable, this lightweight bi-stretch fabric is quick-drying and very comfortable.
• Stabilizer: Lightweight yet durable material, perfect for creating a cooling panel on the back of the jersey. It maintains stability and alignment - and has UPF30 - despite its minimal weight and volume.
• Triple ramp pockets: Storage design with three pockets with fabric covers in optimal positions for easy access; security and stability guaranteed. Earphone hole in the right pocket; micro-perforated bonded reflection for visibility.
• Mesh radio pocket: sewn into the back seam for accessible yet out-of-the-way positioning.
• Falken Cut: exclusive ASSOS triangular pattern on the abdominal area for an ultra-smooth wrap.
• Triple slider zipper: the closed zipper allows you to keep the chest-neck section sealed, meaning you can pull it down while still opening the lower section for extra airflow.
• Raw cut + bonded sleeves: the smooth, wrapping front with the bonded back creates the best balance between comfort and stability.
