This year, the Elite range of cycling bottles includes a new special model, the Jet bottle made from biodegradable material. Available in 4 sizes to meet any hydration needs while cycling (350 ml, 550 ml, 750 ml, and 950 ml), the Jet combines the best performance qualities from the Elite bottle catalog such as lightness, abundant dispensing, and maintaining a clean taste of water, while also integrating the use of biodegradable plastic to limit the bottle's environmental impact. The creation of more sustainable alternatives to products such as sports bottles, which already represent a more eco-friendly option compared to traditional single-use plastic bottles, has become an increasingly pressing necessity in light of greater awareness regarding plastic use and its environmental impact. The Jet bottle meets this requirement as it can significantly reduce its decomposition time when disposed of in regular industrial composting streams, positioning itself as one of the most innovative alternatives to traditional non-biodegradable plastic bottles. The plastic material used to create the Jet is treated with a special bio additive that allows microorganisms responsible for biodegradation to attack the polymer chain of the plastic used. This process significantly contributes to reducing the degradation time of the bottle (from 3 months to 5 years). This is not possible for normal plastic-derived products (which take 100 to 1,000 years to decompose). The bottle features a new design that is both sophisticated, sporty, and functional, allowing us to make the bottle body more durable while keeping the lightness and softness unchanged. Characterized by a sinuous and elegant profile, the Jet consists of a bottle body shaped with a smaller diameter to facilitate grip even in difficult conditions, ease removal while running, and ensure greater stability of the product in the bottle holder. With a standard diameter of 74 mm (66mm for the 350ml version), the Jet can be used with all traditional bottle holders available on the market. The quick-twist opening makes washing and drying the bottle easier. Like all Elite bottles, the Jet is also made from certified BPA-free plastic materials, making it fully compliant with all the most restrictive European CE and American FDA regulations governing products intended for contact with liquids and food.
