Completely redesigned, the DRT5 Maven features more protective coverage, an improved ventilation system, fully adjustable fit, and an outer shell with a low-profile design. And since our DNA speaks clearly when it comes to eyewear, the DRT5 Maven also offers perfect integration with glasses and goggles. With the integrated eyewear support area and the visor with four adjustments, you will always have all the flexibility you need, in any situation. • FIT: the BOA 360° system includes a dial adjustment that ensures a secure and optimal fit at all times.
• ULTRA LIGHTWEIGHT: weighing 60 grams less than the previous model, the DRT5 Maven helmet is lighter than ever.
• PROTECTION: the Mips® brain protection system consists of a low-friction layer integrated into the helmet designed to reduce rotational accelerations suffered by the brain tissue in the event of an impact, helping to protect against potential injuries.
• VENTILATION: the DRT5 Maven helmet features a total of 19 ventilation holes, including new openings at the front and top, to ensure optimal airflow and breathability at all times.
• COMFORT: the DRT5 Maven is equipped with both a sweat protection band and traditional fabric padding on the top of the helmet. The silicone gel sweat protection collects sweat from the forehead and diverts it to prevent it from dirtying the glasses, while the fabric padding increases contact points for greater comfort.
• INNER LINING: the Ionic+™ Antimicrobial inner lining activates in case of sweat, keeping the skin cool and odors under control.
• GLASSES STORAGE: the front openings serve not only for ventilation but also provide a safe place to store glasses. The special Unobtainium® wings hold the arms in place, while a second glasses position is located at the back of the helmet, a feature exclusive to the DRT5 Maven.
• GLASSES INTEGRATION: the visor with four adjustments protects the face and eyes from dust and sunlight, as well as providing another great alternative for storing glasses. The DRT5 Maven helmet has been designed based on the features of our Airbrake MTB goggles, offering a perfect fit with this model.
• DESIGN: the DRT5 Maven helmet features a badge with an Iridium® coated logo, reflecting the colors of the Prizm™ lenses of Oakley glasses. The color of the badge varies based on the color of the helmet, but all pay homage to Oakley's great tradition in the eyewear world.
