Technical information

Poc Cytal Carbon Helmet is the result of the constant search for new ways to maximize performance and safety. The road cycling helmet introduces new methods and technologies to offer speed and safety. Using production methods currently used only on luxury sports cars, POC has integrated a carbon wing into the helmet, improving its aerodynamic properties, maintaining low weight and supporting a more uniform distribution of the impact force on the whole helmet. The introduction of new modeling and simulation methods during the design process has opened new possibilities to test projects and push what is possible in a helmet, in terms of speed balance, safety and performance. The result: a new approach to what keeps you safe. The helmet is more open in the front, improving the entrance of the air into the helmet for better ventilation and less aerodynamic resistance. A regulation system that extends from the temples to the back of the head facilitates the search for a safe and comfortable fit.

Helmet with carbon wing placed between the external polycarbonate cap and the internal one in EPS (left -handed expanded polystyrene), which improves the aerodynamic performances, ventilation and safety.
The Koridion, with which the carbon wing is created, is a ductile and elastic material so as to allow, in the face of an impact, an absorption and more effective dissipation of the forces.
Air upholsses expanded on the front of the helmet for optimized ventilation.
Polycarbonate external cap, while the internal cap in EPS (left -handed expanded polystyrene) offers additional protection in the most exposed areas.
REFRING SYSTEM AND MICROMUTRIC REGULATION WITH A CERTURINE that intertwines dividers under the adjustable ear and a classic snap buckle
