The Specialized S-Works TT 5 helmet is made by working with the fastest athletes in the world to create products that help them win races. The TT5 helmet is the perfect example of Specialized's Made in Racing approach. Remco Evenepoel and Kasper Asgreen spent countless hours in the wind tunnel collaborating on the creation of the fastest TT helmet ever developed. With CFD modeling, the design team reshaped the TT helmet, bringing the back closer to the athlete's shoulders, thus reducing the vortex that creates air resistance. The S-Works TT5 helmet comes with a mask featuring class 1 optics for zero distortion when looking down the road, unlike traditional lenses which are typically made from a single piece of clear plastic. The hydrophobic and anti-fog coating (EN 166) on the lens helps visibility in case of changing weather conditions during the race. The occipital adjustment allows for a customized fit, and the angle of the helmet can also be managed for compatibility with glasses. The TriFix system now has thinner straps to avoid any irritation. The MIPS Node Air technology is integrated into the padding with a thin layer designed to dissipate rotational forces. Perforations have been added to further enhance comfort and performance.
