Campagnolo Ekar 13V chain

The new Campagnolo Ekar C13 chain is a fundamental element of the Ekar mechanical group; in addition to providing an efficient transmission, in gravel discipline the chain must work perfectly to contribute to a smooth and fast gear change, always guaranteeing maximum safety. At just 4.9 mm wide, the C13 chain is 0.25 mm narrower than the Campagnolo 12-speed chain, but offers exactly the same high performance and long life, characteristics recognized on all Campagnolo chains. The C13 chain mates effectively with the special profile toothing of the 1x13-speed crankset gear and Ekar sprockets for safe, efficient and smooth transmission. Despite its narrow profile, the C13 chain is very robust; its internal links in C60 steel with nickel-teflon surface treatment resist the highest rate of wear to which they are subjected on gravel courses. The entire chain, made in the Campagnolo factory in Vicenza, is subjected to an exclusive lubrication process, with an ultrasonic bath system that guarantees that the special lubricating formula covers all the links in depth and uniformly. The result is efficient operation and high resilience, ensuring longevity even in difficult off-road conditions, and requiring less maintenance.
