LESTER MISCHKE
VERY PUNCTURE PROOF WITH A STABLE, WELL CONTROLLED, RIDE

Continental Allseason hereafter called AS: I've been using this model of tire since about May 2023. I've had only one flat with them. The flat was caused by a large cut in the tire that I received while riding. It was so big and deep that I had to replace the tire. I'm not sure what I ran-over to cause the flat but the tire looked as if it had been cut by a knife. The cut went all the way through the thread and was about 3/4 inche wide.

Other than the above-mentioned cut, I have not have one flat in these tire and I've ridden them 1000's of miles. I've never had such problem-free tires before. I'm running them tubeless and use Stan's Race Sealant with them.

Besides being almost complelely free of flats, AS add a degree of control and stability to the bike. I believe this is from their extra weight and thread. This extra weight and thread is the only negative of the tire. They do weigh more than the Continental non-AS 5000S tubeless-ready tires, the tires I was previously using. I don't much notice the extra weight when riding but you can observe it by comparing the AS tires to a standard 5000S Continental. I suspec the extra weight is caused by the extra thread and thread depth on the AS.

In summary, I highly recommend the AS tires. They provide the best flat protection I've ever experienced. Their only negative is a small amount of extra weight when compared to other tubeless tires.
