The thin chainstays connect further down the seat tube to improve vertical compliance, while their twisted design further enhances this by introducing discontinuity into the system. The standard 31.6 seatpost is extended to absorb more vibration from the tail and provide additional support. A flat-mount rear brake allows us to shape the chainstay entirely from carbon without the need to press or glue alloy parts, resulting in significant weight savings and increased strength. This also facilitates a symmetrical seat stay setup that keeps rear wheel transmitted loads symmetrical, thus improving shock alignment and reducing shock side loading. The LANDO was designed in unison with Black Inc components to complement ride quality and minimize weight. Crafted from the finest quality materials, including an extremely strong Ni-Cr axle, Ceramic Speed bearings and Sapim CX-Ray spokes, Black Inc TWENTY SEVEN wheels are XC specific with a modern focus for today's technical race courses and for exceptional cyclists.
