The Assos johDah jacket revolutionizes the concept of protecting the body during intense efforts in the most adverse weather conditions. Specifically designed for cyclists who train all year and for professional athletes, the jacket is part of a multi-layer system and is made with materials that "activate" according to the energy generated during training, giving you just the right amount of insulation to perfectly regulate the body's core temperature during colder runs and long hours of training. The result is a second rain skin that breathes and moves with your body. The johDah project began with the development of a completely new line of softshells, each of which has characteristics of softness and breathability superior to all the garments developed so far. Known as SPHERE, this family of fabrics is the heir to the now consolidated Stratagon, and offers materials with a variable thickness membrane, to ensure waterproof protection and flexible comfort. Starting from the inside, the front is made up of a series of ultra-thin layers: the first resembles an intermediate layer with a short zip, which protects the chest while ensuring targeted insulation; then comes the SPHERE Light triple-layer windproof and rainproof fabric, characterized by a light internal thermal layer. To avoid overheating of the body, we have added Diffusor "valves" at shoulder height, which act as a ventilation duct. They let in fresh air from the outside and channel it between the two layers of the jersey fabric. The upper back and forearms are protected by our robust triple-layer SPHERE Medium, featuring a thicker, more insulating fabric on the inside. The lower back is made using OSMOS Heavy, our most insulating combed fabric while the mid layer is made with OSMOS Light, which is lighter and more breathable. Finally, the upper part of the arms uses the triple layer ZigZaggy Foam warp knit, which will envelop you with its extreme softness and ability to isolate from the wind. It should be noted that the johDah is part of a three-headed system. You can wear it individually during the coldest winter conditions or combine it with the Thermobooster Mid Layer for added thermal insulation. For additional protection in more humid or colder climates, you can wear your Alleycat Clima Capsule over the other layers. These additional layers can be conveniently stored in the Thermobooster pocket located at the top of the back panel of the johDah jacket.

• SPHERE Light: Used for the front panel, this mid-weight version of SPHERE is a patented, triple-layer windproof, rainproof and highly breathable softshell fabric, featuring a taped polyurethane membrane to provide additional water repellency. Weight: 235 g / m2; breathability: MVP 30,000 g / m2 / 24 h; water column:> 10,000 mm; elasticity: four-way.
• Tibet: It is the innermost layer that makes up the SPHERE Light. This circular knit fabric with bi-directional stretch provides additional thermal insulation and helps to wick moisture away from the underlying layers.
• SPHERE Medium: Used for the upper back and forearms, this is our thicker SPHERE version. It is a patented, triple-layer, windproof and highly breathable softshell fabric; equipped with a taped polyurethane membrane to offer additional water repellency. Weight: 320 g / m2; breathability: MVP 20,000 g / m2 / 24 h; water column:> 10,000 mm; elasticity: four-way.
• Rhombus: The innermost layer of SPHERE Medium is made of a polypropylene sponge fabric with jacquard processing, characterized by a three-dimensional diamond structure mesh to promote airflow, absorb moisture and add thermal insulation to the top of the back and forearms.
• ZigZaggy Foam: The upper part of the sleeves is made with a windproof, triple layer warp knit fabric, which features a central foam core and a combed inner layer to ensure added thermal insulation.
• OSMOS Heavy: This warp knit fabric is used along the back. It is the heaviest of the OSMOS worsted fabric family (290 g / m2), characterized by asymmetrical elasticity and a soft and durable structure. High levels of thermal insulation are guaranteed on the combed side in contact with the skin.
• Asymmetrical zip with two sliders: Invisible self-locking (camlock) metallic zip, sewn diagonally at the neck to provide greater comfort.
• Thermobooster Pod: This is the fourth pocket positioned along the central rear panel, specially packaged to store the Thermobooster Mid Layer or the Alleycat Clima Capsule.
• Quick Access Tripartite Pockets: Our proprietary design with three fabric flap pockets, convenient for storage, conveniently positioned, easy to access, color coded and featuring a micro-perforated heat-taped edge for visibility.
• Raw cut design on the waist: A soft and aerodynamic design that integrates perfectly with the other additional layers.
• Bi-directional back hem: A wide bi-directional elastic that folds more on the sides than in the center, to offer you a secure and calibrated grip.
• aeroFit: Our slimmer cut with a focus on speed, even tighter and with a higher level of compression than racingFit. It feels like it is restricting movement when not in the saddle, but feels like a second skin when running.
