Mavic Cosmic SLR 32 Disc wheels, thanks to its new, lighter 32mm carbon rim, and Road Tubeless technology for ease of use, this ultralight disc wheel instantly improves your performance, especially on steep climbs. When you're aiming for KOM on the toughest climbs, nothing better to help you out than the power of a light and responsive carbon wheelset. This newcomer to the Cosmic family is the worthy replacement for the venerable Ksyrium Pro Carbon SL Disc. It uses a redesigned carbon rim, the lightest in its class. Its 32 mm profiled rims ensure perfect aerodynamics. Designed specifically for disc brakes, they allow you to launch downhill with more control and confidence. To make this rim we use a new layering technique and our exclusive Fore Carbon technology, which leaves the upper deck intact and reinforces the rim only at critical points. The set results in a lightweight 40g wheel. As the spokes are anchored without drilling the upper bridge, there is no need for rim tape. The weight is further reduced (30 g less per wheel). It is also less problems! With the new upper rim bridge profile, fitting and removing tires has never been so easy, while our UST Tubeless system guarantees extremely low rolling resistance. No inner tube, no friction with the tire; and a larger volume of air promises smoother handling. This wheel also uses our patented elliptical spokes, to save even more energy and gain speed. Our new Infinity hub platform helps optimize racking. The carefully adjusted spoke tension optimizes power transfer. Our Instant Drive 360 ​​freehub body combined with automatic QRM Auto bearing adjustment guarantees quick engagement, high rigidity and extended durability. It can be equipped with Shimano or SRAM XD-Road, and it is convertible to Campagnolo by means of an optional freehub body. It is compatible with a 12 x 100 front axle and a 12 x 142 rear axle, and is convertible to a quick release using the adapters provided. For Center Lock brake discs only.
