The new E-Deemax S is designed specifically for electric mountain bikes and features exclusive technologies that provide smoother handling and greater riding pleasure. The patented PFP (Pinch Flat Protection) technology works with rims that have a larger contact area between tire and rim, greatly reducing the risk of tears and punctures. The 30 mm rim width allows tire pressure to be reduced to improve traction and reduce rolling resistance. Our patented Fore technology features a fully sealed rim top bridge that eliminates the need for rim tape, making it the easiest system for mounting tubeless tires. ISM machining removes material from strategic rim locations to reduce weight without sacrificing strength, and our new Black Shield treatment protects them from scratches and abrasions. We use 28 straight spokes (with the same length) to ensure a strong bond between the rim and the hub. This hub features our highly reliable ID360 double ratchet system for quick engagement and efficient acceleration. Designed for 6-hole or Center Lock brake discs, these 29" wheels are compatible with Shimano HG9, XD and Micro Spline freewheel bodies and come complete with UST Tubeless valves, replacement spokes and accessories.
