The Ksyrium line has been responding for years to a series of complex requirements, managing, like no other, to combine minimal weight with the requirements of rigidity, comfort and reliability that are essential for cyclists. Thanks to the addition of our UST tubeless road technology, now Ksyrium Carbon SL UST is even faster. Eliminating the air chamber also eliminates friction, ensuring faster rolling and greater efficiency. In addition, the Yksion Pro UST tubeless tire pressure can be reduced for added comfort and lower risk of punctures. The UST system with sealant is lighter than the traditional tube-wheel tire system. The wider rim width (19 mm inside and 25 mm outside) increases the volume of air in the tires improving the pedaling quality, while the smooth lines and curves of the profile make it one of the most aerodynamic wheels in the category. With our iTgMax rim printing process, the resins are subjected to a special treatment that allows them to withstand higher temperatures better than any other carbon clincher rim. Furthermore, the laser braking track guarantees reliable braking performance. The rays are thin and double-thickness. We have chosen to insert 20 in the front wheel and 24 in the rear wheel, to reduce weight while achieving greater rigidity and long-term reliability. Ksyrium Pro Carbon SL C boasts our new freewheeling system Instant Drive 360, which ensures a quick connection, a long service life and a high rigidity of the through-axle. It has a specific design that allows you to carry out maintenance operations entirely by hand, without appropriate tools. By eliminating the tube, the UST tubeless road system also avoids friction due to lower rolling resistance and higher speed.
