Some might call it a carbon copy, but Specialized calls it the Crux DSW. At just 1399 grams*, the Crux DSW's is the world's lightest alloy gravel frame . Together with the Crux Fact12r carbon fork and a performance set-up, the Crux DSW tips the scales at 9.37 kg (9.37 pounds): no alloy gravel bike can compete. More space means more capacity-that's why the Crux DSW has the same tire clearance as the carbon version: 47 mm and up to 2.1" with a 650b wheel. With its strong, lightweight alloy frame and wide-section tires, the Crux DSW can take you anywhere, and at full throttle. Responsive to the pedals and supple in the saddle. Specialized used D'Aluisio Smartweld to bring out the properties of the alloy and offer a ride previously impossible without carbon, and combine it with the same high-performance gravel geometry and race-inspired saddle position as the carbon Crux. A longer reach offers better weight distribution for quick and confident handling, while a lower stack creates an aggressive stance. With a bottom bracket drop of 72 mm, we achieve the perfect mix of agility and stability.
